With 37 statements related to the orientation of self-sufficiency programs, Q sorting was conducting to 9 key social workers. According to Q methodology, there were three types of key social workers`` subjective perception: ¡®the type of social economical value orientation,¡¯ ¡®the type of practical purpose orientation,¡¯ ¡®the type of independent organization orientation based on participants.¡¯ The study results implicate that a self-sufficiency program transformed into social economy should mainly be led by participants and that it is necessary to continue to provide social economical education to participants to localize self-sufficiency programs. In other words, it is necessary to perform participant education and come up with a long-term strategy based on reasonable operation of social economy organizations, rather than to achieve such short-term goals of self-sufficiency programs as out-of-poverty through participants¡¯ employment and business start-up.
